Mukojima Momofuku|Exclusive Private Japanese Restaurant in Tokyo / Washoku, Kaiseki Cuisine & Omotenashi

A Message from the Proprietress

Having devoted my life to Tokyo's historic hanamachi since the age of eighteen, I am honored to welcome you to Momofuku.

This house was founded on a simple wish: to share the true spirit of Omotenashi—Japan's art of heartfelt hospitality—with guests from around the world.

Within these walls, geisha dance, Ozashiki games, and seasonal kaiseki cuisine unite to offer a living expression of Japanese beauty no guidebook can capture. It is an experience that transcends language, connecting hearts through warmth and shared joy.

I look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable evening.

Momofuku
is a Japanese
Hideaway Tailored
Especially for You

Momofuku protects your privacy, serving as your private hideaway with just one tatami room per floor. Guests take the elevator directly to their floor and remove their shoes there, ensuring you never encounter other guests at the entrance.

Furthermore, the bar Touen on the first floor has a separate entrance. This means you won't encounter the restaurant's guests and can freely chat with the Proprietress, who loves the tales of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
